The Boppy!

Whoever invented the boppy is a genius! Madison loves to sit it in and hang out... and watch what mom and dad are doing. That's right I said 'watch'! It seems that she is seeing farther than ever! She has even turned her head a few times to follow dad when he is walking around or leaving the room.

Each day is beginning to show a little more personality from our little pumpkin. She is smiling and cooeing quite a bit, especially when she just wakes up (unless her nap has lasted too long and she's starving). We have been having a blast interacting with her. It's to the point where dad actually said he's ready for brothers and sisters now (and she's only 6 1/2 weeks) --- a little soon to go down that road, but there are little glimpses of why people have more than one child.

Our work schedule has been a little challenging this week, it's a bit of a circus actually. I've been trying to go into school during the wee hours of the morning and then jason brings her in to school about 11am to do the swap. It's amazing how much our life has surrendered to schedules these days. It used to be that we could go where we want, when we want, with who we want--- now we are very much limited to 'baby friendly' stores and restaurants, when madison is happy, has a clean diaper, a full tummy (and maybe a litttle sleepy) with people that are immune to crying, spitting up, and conversations that are all about new parenting successes and challenges!
