Beach Place....

We made it!

We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at about 1pm and headed straight for the beach! We were the first of the group to arrive-- and our room wasn't ready-- so we hopped the $1 bus to the beach. We had our first tropical drink in hand by 1:30! Corey and Steve were the next to arrive and meet us done by Beach Place (a mega mess of bars, restaurants, and shops on the beach) by 2pm. We met the rest of the group back at the hotel by 4pm and Spring Break '06 began!

Once united, the boys were quickly off to the liquor store to stock up for the hotel night-- and for the cruise (we decided to try and bring alcohol aboard to save money). The boys returned with about 5 bottles of wine, 2 huge jagermeisters, 2 gallons of flavored vodka, 1 big ass crown royal whiskey, and 2 cases of beer for the hotel night-- yeah, our group doesn't mess around!

We enjoyed a dinner in a nearby restaurant and were able to stay up in the hotel and party like we were in high school again-- it was prom night 1991 all over again! We only lasted as long as the beer-- figured we'd save the liquor for the boat! We were out by 1am... most of us had been up since about 3am. Can't wait for tomorrow!!
