Madison's first 4th of July!

Well, it's official... Madison loves the northwoods! We gathered up the courage to venture to the northwoods again over the 4th of July holiday and it was wonderful! She slept through the nights, hung out a little by the pier, had endless rides on the porch swing, and gave mom and dad a chance to have pina coladas on their floaties. It went so well that we stayed 3 days longer than planned.

Madison got to hang out a little with Grammie and Auntie Taylor. She was full of smiles and coos for them (not to mention a frew grunts here and there). She loved the after dinner boat rides, the humming of the motor was just enough to put her into a pre-bedtime trance. Her life jacket didn't quite fit yet... we're still having a little trouble finding a neck amidst all the chubby cheekness! But as soon as her neck emerges... the life jacket will fit like a glove!
