Costa Magica...

We stepped onto the Costa Magica at exactly 1:21pm today! The only reason I know this is that we wagered a 'free drink' to the person who guessed the minute we would be on the ship-- and Jason won! We joined the embarking line at about 12:00-- so the wait wasn't too bad considering the masses trying to board!

The ship is beautiful! It is brand new-- and beautiful! Every inch is decorated in Italian statues, paintings, and ornate gold trimmings! We went straight to the bar for our first official 'cruise drink' and began our tour of the ship. We stopped for a few photos along the way-- one of the group on the outside deck (can see another ship in port behind)-- one at our (soon to be) favorite bar on deck 12 with Geraldo-- and one of Jason entering our balcony room #9276!

We were thrilled to see our bags make it to each state room-- each one still holding our treasured alcohol-- I think our first jagerbomb was at about 2pm-- in the Brocks room!

The rest of the day was a blur... waving goodbye to Ft.Lauderdale... and cheers-ing to Spring Break '06....
