Durdee Durdee

Jason has been calling Madison 'Durdee Durdee' since she was about 1 week old. It immerged during one of the endless nights of singing, dancing, and baby talking Madison into being calm.... and now it's her signal that daddy is home!

We can't take enough pictures of the little stink-pot (as uncle gary calls her). She is too cute! I can't even begin to count how many times Jason and I say that to each other each day....'isn't she cute'....'yeah, she's totally cute'.... there isn't a minute that passes that we don't recognize how truely blessed we are to have our little 'Durdee Durdee'.

It is getting a little tougher as she grows because she is getting sleepier and going to sleep earlier and earlier. Lately she's done at about 7:30pm... and that's not enough awake time with mommy and daddy after they work all day. So we've been trying to fit in extra walks and snuggle time on the weekend.

It's amazing to think she's just over 4 months now! Wow how time has flown! She smiles all the time and is beginning to giggle when you tickle her neck or blow on her tummy. She also drools like crazy so we have to constantly keep changing her bib. She talks in loud, high pitch coos and oohs and aahhhs... and her face expressions are to die for! She can hold a whole conversation with you just with her eyebrows. Her hair is thickening and is an even fuzz all over her head (still pretty sandy blond in color). She has much more control of her arms and hands.... so there is less punching herself in the face happening latey! She still sleeps in bed with us (on her belly most of the time).... at this point I think it's going to be Jason and I finding another bed (versus Madison transitioning to her crib)....

We spent the day shopping in Cedarburg today for the Wine and Harvest Festival, it was wonderful! There were at least 100 booths down the main street (which was closed to traffic). Madison did a fabulous job hanging out in her stroller and giving mom, nanna, and aunt Eileen time to shop and snack... what fun!
